Andrew Saalfrank, Junior Baseball Pitcher, gave his verbal commitment to Indiana University late Monday night.  He visited IU and on the way back knew it was what he wanted.  Andrew had this to say about why he chose Indiana, ” I was told that I would know what school I would want to go to and after visiting at IU I fell in love with the campus and the staff.  It was important to me to really love the college and that’s what I did with IU.”

Andrew had a 1.92 ERA with 114 strikeouts.  He gave up only 37 hits in 62 innings pitched.  He is the 5th ranked prospect in the 2016 Indiana Class ( PBR Indiana).

His high school coach, Dean Lehrman, commented about Andrew, ” We’re very proud of Andrew’s accomplishments.  We look forward to great things in his and our future, now tht he’s committed.  He is very deserving.”
