Yet with the many juniors on the team the Patriots are still looking to improve on this season.
Junior starter Haley Hoffman had this to say on the year, “We started off the year with our lows but I was really happy the way the year ended with all the wins we had down the stretch.”
The Lady Patriots showed confidence in every match they played. With devastating losses in back to back games vs putting their record at 7-9, the patriots ended the year 14-3 culminating an impressive 21-12 record.
Head coach Steve Walter stated this on how they finished the year,”We started in a funk because we had multiple injuries to overcome, coupled with a extremely tough schedule. Eventually we found our groove and started rolling and finished extremely strong. I was amazed by the way the team rebounded and am extremely proud of them for the strong finish.”
The girls team is returning 10 juniors and a number of talented freshman. Next years team has high potential and can certainly build on this years success.
