Multiple Teams · Boys Dominate the Bulldogs


The JV and Varsity boys soccer teams played at home against New Haven on Wednesday, Sept. 14. The Varsity shut out New Haven with a score of 8-0.

Statistical leaders for the Varsity were Zar Kan with 2 goals and 4 assists, Rylie Schane with 2 goals and 1 assist, Connor Simmons with 2 goals, Zay Ya with 2 goals, and Garret Ternet and Oh Mae were each credited with an assist.

The defense, led by goalkeeper Jordan Melcher was flawless in the shutout.

Following the varsity action, the JV lost in a tough battle to Bellmont. Bobby Lomow scored two goals for the JV.

The next home match for the boys soccer teams will be on Saturday against Columbia City with the JV starting at 10 a.m. and the varsity to follow.
