Multiple Teams · Pats Knock Out the Knights

Last night, Sept. 20, the Heritage Boys’ Soccer Teams traveled to Norwell for a matchup with the Knights. The JV won with a score of 2-0, and the Varsity won with an outstanding score of 5-0, improving to 7-4 overall and 2-0 in ACAC play.

For the varsity, Zar Kan knocked in two goals and upped his team-leading total to 13 goals for the season, while Rylie Schane, Oh Mae, and Connor Simmons each contributed one. Junior Nick Wyss commented on the team’s stout defensive effort, stating, “Our back four is a solid defensive line,” and it was backed by goalie Jordan Melcher who was three for three in save opportunities.

Statistical leaders for the JV were Joe and Ma Mae with one goal each. Emmett Niemeyer had a great assist chipping the ball right next to the goal and setting up his teammate for an easy score.

The boys take on Leo at 5:00 on Thursday on the Lions’ turf.
